FOXTON HARBOUR BAR.
[BY TELEGRAM!.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Pamierston North, Thursday. Reports from Foxton indicate that the bar is in a particularly bad state. Despite the spring tides -now prevailing, during the week the steamer Gertie bumped when crossing the bar, and damaged her propeller, necessitating twelve hours' detention. The -"s.s. Kennedy is reported to have "rolled across" the bar on Wedday night, but the Himatangi got over without mishap. / J
