At the meeting of the -Management ■ Committee of Now 'Zealand Rugby Union tonight, the Auckland Union' notified that it intended to erect extra stand ■'accommodation for the British match, at a cost of £1000. It put forward two proposals: —(1) That the New Zealand Union' shouud pay £500, talcing 50 per cent, of the proceeds, the Auckland Union £350, taking 35 per cent., and the Tramways Company £150, taking 15 per cent.; (2) that the Auckland Union and the Tramways Company build the stand themselves. It was decided to approve the second proposal. The gate charges for the second test match were fixed at 2s, 3s, and ss.
