TE PUKE HOTEL CASE.
The hearing of the case in which Ernest Brothers Dufaur sued Timothy Kenealy, Arthur Antony Smith, and Ernest J. R. Smith for possession of the To Puke Hotel and £500 damages was continued, before Mr. Justice Edwards, at the Supreme Court yesterday. Mr. F. E. Baume, K. 0., and Dr. IE Dean Bamfoid appeared tor the plaintiff, and Mesas. J. B. Reed, R. McVeagh, and Phillips for the defendants. The evidence for the defence having been concluded, counsel proceeded to address the Court upon the evidence, and also upon several non-suit points, which had been raised by the defence, and reserved for argument. Mr. Reed addressed His Honor at considerable length, and was followed by Mr. McVeagh, who had not completed his argument when the further hearing of the tace was adjourned until this morning.
