ALLEGED THEF'I OF MON'KV. Before Mr. C. C. Kettle. DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Harry Hogarth Gill, a young man. for whom Mr. W. E. Haekett appeared, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, white drunk in Ponsonby Road, or. Monday night, and was fined £5 and cost*, or in default one month's imprisonment. MISCELLANEOUS. William Williams, a young well-drcrsed man, was remanded until Friday next, on the application of Sergeant Hendry. 0:1 a charge of stealing 50s from the person of William Hume. John Graham, for disobeying an order of the Court respecting the maintenance of his wife, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. The order for imprisonment iv.is suspended for seven <::.;y.s so as to give the defendant an opportunity of paviiiL' off the smears (£3). I Eli™ McMillan, alias Moiioghan, chained with drunkenness and with committing a breach,of her prohibition order, was sentenced to three months" imprisonment on the first- charge, and convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon on the second. Robert John Calm-ait a second offender for drunkenness, was lined lfts and costs, or in default 48 hours' imprisonment. He was also prohibited for 12 months, against his own desire.
