Tim; final arrangements in connection with "local industries week" (June 4 to 10) were made at the. meeting of. the Canterbury Industrial Association last evening. The report of the committee in regard to the exhibition stated that 33 manufacturers intended to exhibit in 31 shop windows', which had been allotted them, and 53 firms would make independent exhibits of their goods. The exhiitors included most of the leading firms, and the displays would be made in the show windows in the principal streets. Great enthusiasm had been displayed in the movement.
