TOM BURROWS AT CHRISTCHURCH, [BY TELKGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION".] CiimsTCHi'RCri, Thursday. A large number of people assembled on the stage of the Opera House this morning, when Tom Burrows, the champion club-swinger of the world, commenced an attempt to break his own continuous record of 62 hours 6 minutes (established at Auckland). . He calculates that he will cease his task somewhere about midnight on Saturday. The clubs weigh 31b lioz altogether, and a minimum of 70 revolutions per minute has to be maintained.
