[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, Thursday. Dr. Mason left yesterday for Auckland, after having conferred with the Palmerston North Master Butchers' Association, with a view to improving the methods of handling and storing meat for sale for human consumption. Acting on Dr. Mason's advice, it was resolved to ask the Borough Council to draw up stringent regulations for the inspection and licensing of all butchers' premises and hawkers' carts.
