APPOINTMENT OF ARBITRATORS. Tee representatives of the Auckland Electric Tramways Company, Limited, to act upon the special board of arbitration to settle the dispute between the company . and its employees, were, appointed yesterday. They are Mr. P. M. Hansen (formerly managing director and now a director of the company) and Mr. E. H. Morris (inspector-in-charge of the Ponsonby Barn). •; These gentlemen, together with the union's representatives,' Messrs. - H.-- Carter and G. Sherry," motorman and conductor respectively, will be called upon by the clerk of awards, Mr. E. W. Cave, to elect ■a chairman, and in the event of their failing to agree as to who is to act the appointment will be made by the Government. It is expected that the board wHI commence its sittings in. about a fortnight's time, probably in the Arbitration Court.
