Details respecting the Maitland tragedy, j in which a girl named Lilian Bridge, a dairy farmer's daughter, was murdered, apparently having had her head battered in with a tomahawk, show that at the time of the tragedy the girl was proceeding to meet her younger sister, who is employed at the house owned by the father of Green, the young man who has been arrested. The young man Green, arrested on suspicion of having murdered Lilian Bridge, was among?!, those who flocked to the scene of the tragedy, and joined in the general expression of horror.
