Mr. Richardson seems to have been in private communication with the authorities at Home on the subject, and the meeting decided to ask him to forward . all his correspondence on the question. The secretary reported that he had not yet received replies from Aston Villa and other wealthy clubs at Home about sending a.. team on tour to the colonies. The question of approaching the New Zealand Cricket Council with the idea ol getting an English team of cricketers who could play a series of association football matches at the end of their cricket tour was discussed, and the matter will be again brought up at the next meeting of the council.
