OBITUARY.

THE REV. BENJAMIN WAUGH. By Telegraph—Press Association Copyright. London, March 13. The death is announced of the Rev. Benjamin Waugh, Congregationalist minister, at the age of 69. The Rev, Benjamin Waugh, who was editor of the Sunday Magazine for many years, founded the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, of which ho was director from 1889 to 1905. He was the author of "A Plea for the Abolition of Juvenile Punishment," "Sunday Evenings With Children," and several other works of a like kind. MR. J. B. HOWE. London, March 13. Mr. J. B. Howe, the veteran English' actor, died suddenly; yesterday.
