Wesitost, Friday. In- a libel action heard yesterday and today, before District Court Judge Haselden and a jury of four, in which J. M. Sutiley, fruiterer, claimed from Walter Atkin, proprietor of the Westpovt News, the sum of £-199, as damages for alleged libel in a letter m which, complaint waff made of the state of plaintiff's back yard, judgment was given for defendant, with costs £37
7c. A peculiar feature of the case was that the writer of the letter had this morning disclosed his namo to th« plaintiff, ana ivae called as a witness on bis behalf.
