CRICKET. DRAW TOR SATURDAY. AT a meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association, held last evening, the following arrangements were made for Saturday :— FIRST GRADE. Eden v. Stevenson and McKlnney. SECOND GRADE. Eden A v. Eden P. (at highland), umpires Messrs. Thomas and Walker. Farnell A v. I'arnell B (on Domain), umpires Messrs. Harmon and Sharpies. City v. North Shore (at North Shore), umpires Messrs. Oollctt and Christie. ronsonbv- v. Grafton (on Victoria Park), umpires Messrs. Von dcr Hyde and Carson. THIRD GRADE. North Shore A v. Ponsonby (at North Shore). . City A v. North Shore B (at Victoria Park). City B v. Eden B (on Kingsland ground). Eden A v. Parnell (on Domain). The Junior Advisory Committee were granted permission to play two representative games on the 29th inst. between two teams of Auckland juniors and Bombay and Waiuku on the hitter's ground. The secretary was instructed to write to t lie New Zealand Cricket Council asking- if they, intended that, the contemplated match, New Zealand v. the holders of the I'lunket shield, was to take place this season, and if so on what date, The various district clubs have been 'asked to forward the names of the most promising junior ulavers so that they may receive coaching from A. "E. Relf. A letter was received from the secretary of the Otago Cricket Association expressing the committee's best, thanks for the generous treatment accorded the Otago team while in Auckland.
