Wilkinson, a wealthy cotton manufacturer, of Bolton, has presented that city with his splendid mansion and grounds as a sanatorium for the treatment of consumptives, while he has also added a large monetary endowment for the upkeep of the institution. The gift represents a sum of £100,000. (Received ,January 13, 10,33 p.m.) London, January 13. Consumptive patients have been successfully operated on in London and the Continent.
