IMPROVED HEMP PROCESS CO.

MEETING OP SHAREHOLDERS. A mketing of shareholders in the Richardson and Scott Improved Hemp Process Company was licld at Mr. H. J. Lee's office, Hobson Buildings, Shortiand-street, yesterday. Hie directors reported that the total number of shares in the company was 5000 at £1 each, 2774 of which had been allotted as follows: 2000 shares fully paid up to vendors and their nominees in consideration of their transferring the patent rights of their invention to the company in terms of agreement dated September 14, 1907, made between William George Richardson and Michael Hamilton Scott of the one part and William Ernest Moore as trustee and on behJtlf of the company of , the . other part, and 774 shares allotted as contributing, £1 being paid up on 40 shares, and the balance as follows : 5e on application, and 5s on allotment, £68 15s of the allotment money being still unpaid on 276 shares. The receipts and payments of the company on the date of the report were as follow:—Receipts, 40 shares on which £1 per share had been paid, £40; 459 shares on which 10s per share had been paid, £229 10s; 275 shares on which 5s per share had been paid, £68 15s; total, £338 ss. Payments : Vendors, £50 ; salaries, £68 ; travelling expenses, £34 10s ; sundry expenses, £9 19s 9d, leaving bank balance of £175 15s 3d. The report was adopted, and tlio following directors were elected for the ensuing year: Messrs. G. Walker (chairman), C. E. Bold, M. H. Scott, W. G. Richardson, and M. J. Connor.
