The New Zealand professional footballers played their 13th match in England to-day, when they met Leigh, and for the third time suffered defeat, Leigh scoring three goals three tries (15. points) to the colonials' three goals one try (nine points).
Leigh led at half-time by seven points to four, and held a big advantage till the last minute, when the New Zealandcrs scored.
The New Zealanders have now played. 13 matches in England, and of these- have won nine, drawn one, and lost three. The remaining' list- of fixtures is as follows: — November 23: Oldham. November 27: West Lancashire (probably et Liverpool). November 30: Dewsbury arid Batley combined. December 4: Swinton. December ■": Rochdale Hornets. December 11: Runcorn. December 14 : Halifax.
