[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ' y ' ■ Waihi, Monday. The I Waihi branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation is in communication with the Hon. G. Fowlds, with a view to arranging for the Minister to include Waihi in the districts to be visited during his coming tour North. The Rev. R. H. Catherwood, of St. Peter's Church, Auckland, conducted the service in the Waihi Presbyterian Church last night. There was a very large congregation, and Mr. Catherwood, taking. as his text, "Knighthood or Chivalry," gave a stirring and impressive address. The condition of F. Boyer, late manager of the Waihi Co-operative Society, who recently attempted to take his life, is at present very precarious, and no hope is nowheld out by the medical men in attendance for his ultimate recovery.
