ECCLESIASTICAL.
The feast of Corpus Christi wan celebrated in St. Patrick's Cathedral ;on Sunday. All the services were well attended. High Mass was celebrated .1 at eleven o'clock, Bishop Lenihan being present. The Rev. Father Farthing was celebrant, and the Rev. Fathers Holbrook and Murphy were deacon and sub-deacon • respectively. The Bishop ; preached a sermon explanatory of the festival. The choir rendered Millard's Mass in an impressive manner. ';■ ' The I Forty Hours' Adoration was commenced after Mass, and the Mlarist Brothers sang 1 the "Litany of the Saints.". Following this was the Benediction of the Blessed; Sacrament. There was a crowded congregation in the evening, when 43| new aspirants were received into the Guard of Honour. The Bishop also preached an appropriate sermon. Last evening the services were continued, a large congregation being present. The Rev. Father Murphy preached a sermon '. on the Blessed Sacrament. High Mass will be celebrated at nine o'clock this morning. - y
