He walked slowly with the assistance of a stick and a friend's arm, and was unable to' acknowledge the cheers with which ) the ■ crowd at the railway station greeted; him. v TheV members of: his . family ,say that he was none the worse for the journey. (Received Jnna 3, 10.20 p.m.) London, June 3. Mr. Austen Chamberlain states* that the progress, of his father towards recovery is • slow, . but normal. An announcement has been made by the family that 'Mr. amberlain has returned ■ from ' France greatly improved in health.
