The flagship Powerful went into the gulf yesterday morning to await His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief and his staff, who went out in the Pioneer last night to join the flagship. " , The Pioneer returns to Auckland this morning, and will be floated into Calliope Dock for general.overhaul. The warship leaves for Sydney about the end of this month, where her original crew will be paid olf; after which they -will leave for England, a new crew coming out in July. The Pioneer will then return to New Zealand, where more men for the Royal Naval Reserve will be shipped. The Encounter arrived at Wellington from ; Auckland yesterday. The Challenger will be due at Auckland from Sydney about the end of June. The Prometheus leaves for Wellington to-day. v .■■■';-—
