ACCIDENT TO A JOCKEY.
UNCONSCIOUS IN THE HOSPITAL.
DOTING the running of the Maiden Steeplechase at Ellerslie on Saturday Lady Lanta * fell at the sod wall, throwing her rider, B. -Towers, rather heavily. He attempted to ■ riae, but immediately fell again. First aid was quickly rendered, and he was conveyed to the hospital by the ambulance. * On examination Towers was found to be 'suffering from concussion of the brain, and was partly unconscious. He was still unconscious last evening. " .'
