A short sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held before Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M., .yesterday.'.

.lit the case in which H. Cooper, 1 ; claimed front F. R. Bust £2 12s 6d, for carting done, judgment was given for the plaintiff for £1 18s, and costs; Orders against .-judgment', debtors were made as follows:—T. R. Ingli's v. W. Doran, claim £3 Bs, to pay the amount within seven days, or in default seven days' imprisonment; Hugh Mcllhoiie v. G. H. Hawk, claim £1 Bs, to pay the amount within seven days, or in default 48 hours' imprisonment.
