WOOLWICH DISCHARGES.
MEN DECOYED TO GERMANY. By Telegraph.— Association.— , London, May 30. The Daily Chronicle says that of the workmen discharged from Woolwich only 80 have gone to Germany, and these were decoyed there to act as " blacklegs", in a strike of sewing machine makers. . Most of them have returned to England.
The ', original report was that the men had been offered .£6 a week to . work at the Ems gun works in Germany.
