AN ANTI-DYNASTIC RISING. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. Pekin, May 29. i The rebels near Swatow, in China, [have captured the members of the family of a brigadier-general. in the Imperial army, and compelled .them to commit suicide by drowning themselves in a well.
The rebels have issued a proclamation in which they state that their object in rising is to exterminate official's and overthrow the Government. Their operations, it says, are not directed against foreigners or ordinary citizens.
The authorities at Canton have sent, troops' to Swatow.
