Wellington, Tuesday. - ~\ In j connection with the incident in the Supreme Court, at the conclusion of the Paget murder trial, in which Mr. Wilford, counsel for the; accused, was alleged to have used strong terms towards the mem"bers of the jury, it is understood ",that the jurymen have received letters from ' Mr. Wilford expressing sincere regret for what occurred, and pleading his overwrought state in extenuation. .".-■
