CIRCULATION OF WILD REPORTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Calcutta, May 22. Seditious emissaries are circulating reports that the Punjab Government has poisoned - the wells and thus is causing plague. Wild excitement in consequence prevails in the villages near Lahore. Two of these emissaries have been sentenced to eighteen and twentyfour months' imprisonment respectively.
