London, April 6. The Kev. Malcolm Mac Coll, D.D., Canon of Ripon, is dead.

Dr. Mac Coll was educated at Edinburgh, Glenalinond and .Naples. Entering the Church he held curacies, was chaplain to the Ambassador at St. Petersburg, rector of St. George's, city, and since 1884 Canon of Ripon. He had published «a number of works on a great variety of religious and political subjects.
