THAW MURDER CASE.

THE. LUNACY INQUIRY.

By Telegraph Press Association.— Copyright.

(Received April 4, 9.27 p.m.)

New York, April 4. The Commissioners in Lunacy have concluded their examination of Harry Thaw, charged with the murder of Mr. Stanford White. The inquiry was conducted privately, even counsel being excluded.

As before, the expert evidence heard was absolutely conflicting. Dr. Wagner, superintendent of the State Hospital for the Insane at Binghampton, testified that in his view Thaw was suffering from " brain storm" when he killed White, but that his balance was restored almost immediately ; others insist that Thaw is still insane.
