MILITARY DRILL IN SCHOOLS.

Ottawa. April 4. The Canadian Minister for Defence (Sir Frederick Borden) has announced in Parliament the inauguration of a system of uniform physical training for young children in the schools, and military drill for boys over twelve years.
The system referred to in the cablegram was announced in November last. Sir Frederick Borden then said that every boy, on reaching 13 v*-ars, would be taught the use of the rifle. '
