CHAMBER APPROVES OF TEE GOVERNMENTS ACTION.

Paris, March 12. The French Chamber, by 378 votes to 68, has passed a vote of confidence in the Government in connection with its intervention in the strike of employees at electrical power works in Paris.

M. Jaures, in a violent speech, condemned the action of the Government, but the members ignored his protest. >

The Government threatened to light Paris with the aid of the military if the strikers did not come to terms at once with their employers.
