Wellington*, Saturday. The decision of the .Marine Court in respect to the occurrence, between the ferry stejtmers Natone and Cobar, near Ward Island, on the 12th inst., when a collision was narrowly averted, was given this morning. lift Court found that the occurrence endangered the safety of both vessels, and was due to the master of the Natone failing to keen on) of tli* way of the Cobar, in accordance with article 19 of regulations for the prevention of collisions at sea. The master of the Natone (Captain Corieh) was censured and ordered to pay the costs of the inquiry (£ll 17s). The Court also said masters of ferry vessels in the harbour should always be in charge of tho bridge.
