LORD ADVOCATES PROPOSAL.

London, January 26. Mr. Shaw (Lord Advocate for Scotland), speaking at Edinburgh yesterday, said he would unofficially suggest to the House, of Commons that the first measure to be taken against the House of Lords ought to bo a resolution limiting its power of obstruction to legislation to a single session. It the Lords refused to concur in the limitation, the Crown ought to create sufficient peers to overawe them.
