('music ii hi if, L-'iiday. Mr. KiRKfATKICK, of the South Australian Legislature, denies that lie warned the New Zealand Labour party against the breaking of the Liberal and Labour alliance. He says lie would naturally be sorry to see a split between the Liberal and Labour parties, if it would give, an advantage to the Conservatives, but he does not- wish to express an opinion or appear to be dictatorial on a matter of which, at present, he has bill little knowledge.
