REMUERA ROAD BOARD.

Donation to Parnell Fire Brigade: It was tiauimousiy decided to donate £3 3s to the funds of the Pa moll Volunteer Fire Brigade. This brigade turns out. to any rail of fire in the Reniuera district.

Tenders: Th i tendors were received for the annua! cartage contract, and that of Mr. J. I'each was accepted. The other tenderers were Mr. .1. ,1. Craig and Mr. Hi", gins. Notice of Motion : Mr. K. Bond gave notice of motion, "That tho price of water should bo reduced from Is 6d to Is 3d n<>r 1000 gallons." 1 Accounts: General accounts amounting to £141 2s 4d were passed for payment. The waterworks account, amounting' to £366 lis, was also passed for payment.
