In conclusion the chairman said the directors wore strongly in favour of not. paying more than eight per cent, dividends' till certain account* had been paid. In seconding the motion Mr. W. F. Klmoiid expressed the opinion that the directors had used the pruning knifo too extensively in writing off accounts.
