At the rooms of the Auckland Theosophica I Society, Mutual Life Buildings, on Bunii.iv evening, the weekly public lecture was delivered bv Mr. Kabor Harrison, under the title of "The Ancient Wisdom.*' The lecture was an exceedingly interesting one. The lecturer sketched the growth of humanity front earliest beginnings to the prevent, time, and then showed what must he tin' re-nil of this evolution when carried ii i.i the future. Ai the H.P.Fi. branch of the Theosopliical Society last night Mr. liavinond. from <;i.-horn<\ lectured, the lit.je of his subject being "The Endless Tide." The. lecture was .-in exposition of .evolution, especially of the evolution of spiritual man. by continual change* from relatively spiritual to relatively material aspects in an endless chain of progression.
