The Gaming Bill, as finally pass- , ed, does not allow the publication of betting ; in newspapers. In the Licensing Bill an amendment has been made exempting clubs from the provisions in the principal Act against unlawful games. No youth under I 18 is to bo employed in a club excepting : beys being trained as waiters. The- mem- ; bers of the boarders' clubs wo defined as > persons who take meals there from day to day. i fj.
