FATAL ACCIDENTS.
LOST ON THE MOUNTAINS.
BODY FOUND IN A DEEP GULLY. [BY TELEGBAFH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Dunedin, Sunday. A party of young men set out from Teviot Station, op Wednesday for Alexandra. When on top of the mountains rain and mist came down, and the party became separated. William Kennedy failed to find his way out, and a search party yesterday discovered his dead body at the bottom of a deep gully.
CRUSHED BY A CONTRACTOR'S MONKEY.

Napier, Sunday. A man named William Goullet, employed at the breakwater, met with a fatal accident at half-past seven p.m. on Saturday. Goullet was engaged in tripping the monkey in connection with pile-driving operations, and by some means, overbalanced himself and swung round as the monkey descended, causing it to strike him as it fell. The deceaseds right arm was severed from the body, and all the shoulder bones were broken, the shoulder and elbow being literally smashed to a pulp. After being struck the body fell into the water and sank, being recovered 45 minutes afterwards by the.harbourmaster. Deceased was 33 years of age, and a married man with one child.
KILLED WHILE BUSHFELLING.

Nelson, Sunday
A man named Campbell was killed while bushfelling near Owen Junction yesterday. Deceased was employed by Mr. Newman.
