Dr. Claridgc. medical superintendent, reported that during the past month 19 patients were admitted and 14 discharged, seven operations were performed, one death occurred, and there were now 13 patients in the hospital. Tho report was adopted, and the question of the X rays apparatus was referred to the X Rays Committee, with uower to act. On the motion of Mi. Livesey ft was decided that all orders for the hospital other than the contract supplies be given through the secretary. Messrs., Giltnour, Fostci. Newdick, and Llvesey, were appointed the House Committee for the ensuing month. It was resolved that the amount due to several contractors in connection with the hospital buildings, amounting to over £200 (with the exception of £10. balance retained until the work of relaying the floor is satisfactory v done), bo paid. At the quarterly meeting of the Primitive Methodist Church the reports submitted from all departments of church work were'considered satisfactory. The debt of the church had been reduced by £25.' The He v. T. B. Woolloxall and Messrs. McCarthney and T. Snow were appointed delegates to the New Plymouth Conference.
