A cable message received here by the secretary of the New Zealand Axemen's Association state- that Miley, Weston, Chellies. Martian, and Cootnbe will represent Australia in Hie Now Zealand Axemen's carnivals this season. The team is the strongest that has yet toured the colony, the member.! holding the principal Australian and Ta*uianiaii championships. They leave Hobart next week to compete in the Eltham carnival on Boxing Day, and subsequently in Christchurch.
