MEETINGS.
AUCKLAND INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION
The adjourned quarterly meeting of the Auckland Industrial Association was lield in the secretary's office, Mercantile Chambers, last evening The president, Mr. Arch. Clark, presided, and eight other members, were present. The president regretted that there was so small an attendance out. of a membership considerably over 100. It was i disappointing, to say the least of it. The meeting had been called for the afternoon j a fortnight ago, lint it had fallen through, and was adjourned until that evening in the hope that more members would put in an appearance. He was also sorry to say thai meetings of the committee had also fallen through. He certainly thought that with such a large membership there should be no difficulty in getting a quorum to conduct the business of the association. Those present then proceeded to consider several preliminary reports, which were dealt with in private. •",•..'. , ? .
