CAR DRIVER KILLED.

COLLISION WITH A TRAMOAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —I'BESS ASSOCIATION'.] CiißisrcnriU'll. Friday. At half-past ten last evening an electric car collided with a hansom cab at the corner of St. Aeaph-streefc and Colombo Road. The cub was driven by Fredk. Reid, of Linwoad, and contained three passengers. The vehicle was completely smashed. Reid was thrown partially under the car. He received a severe wound on the back of his head, and was also injured about the body. He died in be hospital early this morning. The passengers in the cab sustained no serous injury. Reid was a man about 67 years of age. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, a. rider being added that no blame was attachable to anyone.
