'■ - The Suva correspondent of the Polynesian Gazette writes:—"lt is with regret that we are apprised of a severe loss which has been sustained by one of the leading mercantile firms of Messrs. A. M. Brodziak and Co.—in the shape of some 50 cases of the very best Zebra' brand whisky, which were consigned to the deep by order of the authorities. This high-handed action of the Government, unless it can be explained, is, to our mind, deserving of tlie severest censure, and we feel certain that those who patronise this special . Turner-.' Burter blend will not be backward in sending in their protests to:the.
