SEDDON MEMORIAL.

[BY TELEGBArH.—PKKSS ASSOCIATION.] Christchttbch, Friday. At a meeting of delegates of local bodies and organisations, called by the Mayor held to-night, it was decided "that the Seddon memorial should take the form of technical colleges to be established in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch., and Dunedin, and other centres that made the necessary application, and that the public in each centre be asked to subscribe, with the object of making any additions required by the present colleges, any surplus to be invested by the board of managers on behalf of the college in each centre, the interest to be used for the purpose of establishing free scholarships. Wangavut, Friday. The public meeting called to-night to consider the Seddon national memorial lapsed, only the Mayor attending.
