ENTERTAINMENTS.

MacMAHON'S DRAMATIC SEASON. If any confirmatory evidence was necessary to endorse the verdict of the great audience which on Saturday evening acclaimed the inaugural production of Messrs. MacMahon's new dramatic season, that confirmation was amply in evidence last evening, when, despite the inclement weather, the second representation of the drama " Our Guardian Angol" attracted another largo and enthusiastic audience to His Majesty's Theatre. Of this second production it may fairly bo said that the intense situations admirably worked up to by the experienced actors in the full cast of characters, the splendid scenic tableaux, surprising in their artistic realism, and indeed the whole performance could not fail to appeal to Auckland playgoers. The scenes depicting the rescue at sea by a, P. and Q. liner, the wheat field in Devonshire, with the steam reaper at work, were pieces of stage realism of a unique character. "Our Guardian Angel" will be repeated to-night and until further notice. The next dramatic novelty of the season, " The Executioner's Daughter," is in active preparation. OPERA HOUSE. There was a splendid attendance last night at Fuller's Vaudeville Company entertainment at the Opera House, when.the new programme was repeated. Three new artists made their first appearance. The Two Starrs gave a charming scrio song, "Take a Car," and concluded with a cleverly executed dance. Miss Stella, Vernea sting a pretty ballad "When the Fields are White with Daisies," and was deservedly encored. In the second part the Two Starrs sang " I've Saved all ray Money for You." Messrs. Loydall and Berry, the new sketch team, again delighted the audience with their Chinese songs. Monoghan and Sbeehan, Miss Dorothy L'Estrange, Mr. Val. Newton, Mr. Carl Collier, the Driscolls, and Mr. Aubrey Douglas also appeared. Some splendid pictures by tho Warwick Bioscope were shown.
