Petitions to the House about the Auck-laiul-Gisborne Railway: It was resolved that these, which had now been signed, should be sou;; down to Mr. F. E. Baume, M.H.K.. for presentation. ,

North of Auckland Main Trunk Line: A report is being mads by Mr. J as. Stewart, civil engineer, and when it is completed there is to be a special meeting called about, it. The Main Trunk Wellington Railway League having issued a pamphlet, it .wan resolved to a*k them to hend some of th» pamphlets to Auckland for distribution.
