[by telegraph. —PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Blenheim, Thursday. The gun championship concluded to-day. Fraser was first, with 20 birds. F. Redwood, H. J. Redwood, and T. Parker divide second and third money, with 19 birds each. In the handicap pigeon match, J. Whittle (Dannevirke) and E. Heuzl (Christchurch) divided first money (14 oirds each), P. Mason third, and H. Eccles fourth. The Marlborough Laud and Railway League is advertising for labourers for the railway co-operative works at Seddou, where about 80 men are employed. . Dunedin, Thursday. Edgar Ernest Turner, a commercial traveller, sued his late employers, Messrs. O'Brien and Co., of Christchurch. for £550 damages, for .alleged- breach of covenant, and £22 commission. Plaintiff did r.ot appear, and defendants., not admitting <..m claim, and pleading that plaintiff was dismissed, His Honor dismissed the action, with costs on the highest scale.
