MENTAL HEALING.

Du.vedin, Thursday. In the- course of a lecture on mental healing, the Rev. R. A. Woodthorpe (warden of Selwyn College), an acknowledged authority on psychical subject;?, advocated more careful selection by the Church of men for the visitation of the sick. ' He said mental healing had come to stay, and in his judgment no person should be allowed to minister in religion to the sick except men who were not only earnestly religious, but also trained in the science of psychology.
