RIFLE ASSOCIATION MEETING.

[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

Wellington, Friday. It has been definitely decided that the next annual prize meeting of the New Zealand Defence Forces' Rifle Association is to be held in Christehureh during the Exhibition. Colonel Collins, executivo officer, has boon asked to submit for approval a programme that could be carried out with the range available, as it is considered impracticable to carry out the usual programme.- Not only is the Christchurch range of limited extent, but a very large entry is assured. Inquiries as to the present available target accommodation, and what further can be provided, are now being made. When this information is obtained the programme will be drawn up and submitted for approval.
