SHOCKING BOMB OUTRAGE.
A RUSSIAN GENERAL'S TERRIBLE DEATH. OTHERS SERIOUSLY INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association Copyright. St. Petersburg, April 8. A shocking bomb outrage is reported from Central Russia. General Slepztoff, the Governor of Tver, was driving in the principal street of that town when bombs were thrown into his carriage. The main part of his body and his bead were hurled a considerable distance away, while one of bis legs remained in the vehicle. The explosion seriously injured three ladies, two boys, and the coachman. The suspect, who is about 18 years of age, has been arrested. General Slepztoff had been frequently threatened owing to the allegation that he had countenanced the massacre of Zemstovists in Tver in October lust.
